After a prior cancellation due to the recent Metro Manila earthquake, Park Bo Gum's fan meet has finally pushed through on June 22, and Anne Curtis, who herself is a fan, is still on a hallyu high.
The actress posted on Instagram: "One of the most memorable hosting duties done."
Admitting that she was indeed nervous to be on stage with the Korean star, Anne expressed her gratitude to the people who supported her and to all those involved in making the event possible.
"Let me thank everyone who prayed for me and were rooting for me... I'm sure you all probably know why it was challenging for me..." she joked. "It was sooooo much fun and the energy and love you all had for Bogummy could really be felt up on stage. - isa ung sa challenges ko pala - to NOT call him bogummy baby."
Anne also reached out to the actor on Twitter and thanked him for the experience:
"Thank you @BOGUMMY for for visiting Manila. You made thousands of Filipinos happy tonight. It was a fan meet but felt like an all out concert. Thank you for being such a polite gentleman. May God continue to bless you with the gift of inspiring & making millions of people happy!"
To everyone's kilig, the actor replied! "Thanks a lot for your kind words! It was a happy time indeed thanks to your help," he said. "I hope to see you again soon, and may God continue to bless you too with all the gifts he has prepared for you! Take care!"
Park Bo Gum is famous for his roles in Love in the Moonlight, Hello Monster, Reply 1988, and Encounter. His visit to the Philippines is part of his Good Day tour in Asia.
