Paris Hilton is known for a lot of things: the fact that she's an heiress to the Hilton hotel empire, her Barbie doll-like good looks, and her knack for attracting media attention wherever she goes. She is, unmistakably, her own brand. The celebutante recently flew to Manila for a five-day trip, which included activities such as opening her Paris Hilton Handbags and Accessories store in SM Megamall and attending media functions and shoots as the newest endorser of Century Project’s Azure Urban Resort Residences.Paris capped off her week by attending the grand opening of her luxury brand store in SM Megamall on August 18. The store stocks the latest collection of affordable luxury handbags and accessories designed by Paris. She says of the new Fall and Winter 2011 collection, "It's one of our best ones so far. I was very inspired by old Hollywood glamor as well as the trends of new celebrities."
Paris also squeezed in time to meet some of her fans at the meet-and-greet session after the store opening. "Mahal ko kayo," Hilton told the crowds who gathered at the SM Megamall Atrium. Fans who purchased Paris Hilton bags and accessories had a chance to meet the celebrity, who gamely posed for photos and signed autographs. Among them was her "most loyal fan," Isha Dinio, whom Hilton met during a press conference hosted by Century Properties the day before. Isha was toting the gray handbag given to her by Paris.
During the Century Properties press conference, Paris had this to say to women who want to pursue their passions: “It’s all about being yourself, being confident, and working towards your dreams and never letting anyone hold you back.”
Paris also told fans that she might be back in Manila for the opening of the newly redesigned Azure beach resort, dubbed the Paris Hilton Beach Club. Before she left, Hilton tweeted, "Bye Manila, I will miss you! Sad to leave, everyone was so sweet! Love the #Philippines so much! I will be back soon! Love you all! Xo"
