Nikki Gil has finally spoken up about her breakup with her longtime boyfriend Billy Crawford after keeping mum for weeks.

“I’m good, I’m fine. Siyempre pagdadasal (Of course I prayed)... of course with the support of the family and friends. Letting go, forgiveness and understanding,” she was quoted as saying by PEP.ph when she was asked if she had moved on from her split.

The actress also shared that she had already forgiven Billy, as she believes that she was also made some mistakes during their relationship.

“Oo naman, sino naman tayo para 'di magpatawad (Of course, who am I to not forgive him?)?” she remarked. “It takes two to tango, mayroon din naman tayong pagkakamali (I also made some mistakes.).”

When asked about the reason for their breakup, Nikki only said that her values were too different from those of Billy’s.

“At this point I don’t think it’s any of my business anymore. Differences in values, that’s really what it was,” she said.

As for being friends with Billy, it seems like the wound is still too fresh right now for the actress.

“Friendship? Maybe in due time pero huwag muna ngayon (but not right now),” she said.
