It seems like some local celebrities are determined to do their part to help out amidst the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) global pandemic. On March 15, Neri Naig-Miranda posted a photo of her son Miggy Miranda with boxes of food that she was planning to send to health workers and frontliners.
Fellow celebrities commented on Neri's post and commended her for the good deed, including Andi Manzano and Angel Locsin. Neri's husband Chito Miranda also shared her post on IG, saying, "Good job, asawa ko. Oo...proud talaga ako sa kanya."
Neri currently has a business called Neri's Not So Secret Garden, a laid-back restaurant in Laurel, Batangas, that includes Neri's Bakeshop. The menu includes pastries, cakes, and milk tea drinks.
Tagaytay is currently on community quarantine to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease. Under Executive Order 331, residents of Tagaytay are ordered to stay inside their homes. They may only come out "to work, purchase food or medicines, seek medical consultation/care at hospitals or to take out garbage."
