During an interview for the show Magandang Buhay, Angel Locsin's bestie Dimples Romana revealed that Neil Arce's proposal actually happened on June 16, 2019! Angel and Neil announced their engagement to the public on June 29.
Dimples shared, "He decided to talk to Angel's daddy and I think that was the sweetest gesture because si daddy ni Angel spoke to Neil and the rest is history. The proposal happened on Father's Day."
In case you missed it, Dimples was actually the one who helped Neil get Angel's ring size! She borrowed some of Angel's rings from her assistant, traced them on pieces of paper, and secretly sent them to Neil. She was also the first person to know about the proposal, since he called her up a few weeks before the epic day and told her about his plans. Dimples cried so hard as if she was the one being asked for her hand in marriage!
"Angel is such a good person. She deserves somebody who's going to take care of her," Dimples told Magandang Buhay's hosts. "I want her to have the best time of her life, and now is the time. Sobrang alaga kasi ni Neil kay Angel. Nakakatuwa lang na naging parte ako noon."
