Rumors have long been circulating about the status of actors Gerald Anderson’s and Maja Salvador’s relationship, but it was only recently that the young man actually came out and admitted that he and Maja are, indeed, an item.

“Malaking risk 'yung ginawa niya (He took a big risk),” says Maja in an exclusive interview with PEP.ph. “Kasi hindi mo alam kung ano ang magiging epekto sa career (because you don’t know how it will affect his career.).”

According to the actress, Gerald’s admission was especially a big deal for her because that showed her how serious the On the Job actor was about their relationship.

“Pero 'yun nga, sobrang naramdaman ko kung gaano talaga ako kaimportante para sabihin 'yun at gawin 'yun—para umamin in public (I really feel how important I am to him, for him to say and do that and to admit it in public.).”

“Sobrang thankful ako, sobrang grateful ako na 'ganun siya, 'ganun pala siyang tao na alam magpahalaga ng mga mahal niya sa buhay (I’m very thankful and grateful that he’s that way, that he knows how to value the people he loves.).”
