Actress Lovi Poe has been stressed and tired lately--and it's not just because of her numerous showbiz projects. One of the things that had her worried was the rumor that Jake Cuenca, her co-actor in My Neighbor's Wife, allegedly got a box of bullets from her last flame, Ronald Singson, PEP.ph reports. Ronald is currently serving time in Hong Kong for drug charges. Jake has already rebuffed the news, and Lovi shared her own thoughts at the press conference for her upcoming movie, Aswang, on October 5. She says the situation put Jake, his family, and the Singsons in an awkward position. "Si Ron nandoon [sa Hong Kong], he's going through something right now. Nananahimik 'yong tao tapos ginagawan ng mga ganoong issues. (Ron is in Hong Kong. He's going through something right now. He's keeping quiet, then people make up issues like that)," she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph.
Lovi has previously mentioned that she's single, but when the media asked her about the status of her relationship with Ronald at the press conference, she said, "Well, for now, it's hard for me to say. Ngayon kasi, a, wala akong iniintindi kung hindi 'yong sarili ko muna because, wala. I think I'm happier this way, kumbaga, bata pa ako. (Right now, I'm focusing on myself because I think I'm happier this way. It's like saying, I'm still young.) Let's see what will happen in the future. Mahirap na, e, kahit sabihin mong ilang buwan lang 'yon, matagal din pala. (It's hard. Even though it's just a few months, it's still pretty long, after all.)"
