It looks like Crash Landing On You isn't the first show to feature a leading lady who goes paragliding and a leading man working as a soldier who catches her when she somehow crashes in a restricted area.
There's a video going viral online where this exact scene happens to Angel Locsin and Piolo Pascual! It has even been edited with the CLOY theme song "Here I Am Again" by Yerin Baek.
The video is from the 2008 teleserye Lobo, which tells the story of Lyka, an aspiring fashion designer/werewolf, and Noah, a lieutenant of the Philippine Army.
Here's what happens in the paragliding scene: Lyka (Angel) stands in for a model during a photoshoot, but her paragliding costume "sends her flying aimlessly in the air!" She crash-lands right where Noah (Piolo) and his troop are conducting an operation. Lyka is all kilig that he saved her but Noah thinks of her as a nuisance and even tells her, "Alam mo ba na restricted space ni-landingan mo?"
CLOY tells the story of a South Korean heiress named Se-ri (Son Ye Jin) who goes paragliding and accidentally lands in North Korea, where she meets Captain Ri (Hyun Bin), a soldier who helps her go back home and falls in love with her.
