Kris Aquino has answered the accusation of her ex-husband James Yap’s lawyer, Atty. Lorna Kapunan, about her allegedly making it difficult for the basketball player to visit their son, Bimby.

“Sila ang nag-drama, di ba? Si Atty. Kapunan ang nag-text blast na NO FATHER’S DAY for James. E, wala naman talaga kasi di ba, nasa Europe nga (They are the ones reacting dramatically, right? It was Atty. Kapunan who sent a text blast that there was no Father’s Day for James. But there was really no opportunity to celebrate because isn’t James in Europe?)?” she was quoted by PEP.ph as saying in Vinia Vivar’s June 21 column in the tabloid Bulgar. “And I never text James, I texted Attorney Alivia at 8:15 am on June 16. He replied at 4:44 pm.”

The Queen of All Media, who is set to appear in court with James and Bimby on July 1, also revealed the contents of her text to James’ lawyer on Father’s Day.

“Good morning, Atty. Bimby will call James to greet him, please let me know what time is best,” read the text.

James’ legal counsel had reportedly replied eight hours later.

“Good afternoon Ms. Aquino. We could not contact James, but Bimby can call anytime and we are certain that James would appreciate Bimby’s call any time of day.”

As of press time, James has not yet returned from his month-long vacation in Europe, where he was photographed with a blonde woman.
