Actress Kim Chiu, who starred in the successful teleserye My Binondo Girl, confessed that she was ready to fall in love again in an interview with PEP.ph.
"Hindi naman, ano, yung kailangang kailangan ko," she is quoted as saying. "Parang pwede na. Kasi siyempre, two years na rin ang nakalipas. Kaya ayun, kailangan na rin ng inspirasyon. (It's not that I really need to be [in a relationship]. I think I'm ready. After all, two years have already passed. I do need some inspiration again.)" Kim was referring to her past breakup with former love team partner Gerald Anderson, who is currently courting Sarah Geronimo.
Kim has been linked with actor Xian Lim since the beginning of their successful partnership on My Binondo Girl. The actress admitted that, even though the teleserye has been concluded, she and Xian still keep in touch. "Lagi niya akong kinukumusta, then text, tapos nagtatawagan kami. Kung minsan nagkikita kami. (He always asks how I'm doing. He texts, and then we call each other. Sometimes, we meet up.)"
"Minsan nagdi-dinner kami kasama yung mga friends ko (Sometimes we have dinner together along with my friends)," she added.
When PEP.ph asked her if Xian could be her next boyfriend, Kim laughed and said, "Ay, ayoko namang sabihin kasi nakakahiya. Basta! (I don't want to say anything because it's embarrassing. Just let things be!)"
