At the press conference for Metro Manila Film Festival movie My Househusband: Ikaw Na! on November 22, PEP.ph reports that actress Judy Ann Santos and husband Ryan Agoncillo revealed how they dealt with conflicts in their marriage.

Judy Ann said she was more likely to make the first move whenever they have fights. I'm really persistent when it comes to my husband because I don't want us to share a room when we're not okay with each other. I feel like it's not right, especially if you don't know what's going on)," she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph.

She revealed further that if she doesn't know what she did wrong, she won't stop until he tells her. ('Please, let's talk,' until he gets annoyed and talks to me.)"

Meanwhile, Ryan said he was adopting what Judy Ann's method used to be when it came to fights. (I'll stay quiet first and let you come to me. It looks like it's working.)"

Ryan also acknowledged the role conflicts played in improving relationships. (You and your partner are able to release a lot of emotions because after four days of not talking, all your grievances come out. When you talk, they get resolved including the problems you used to hide. Even the emotions you thought you already forgot about come out.)"

He reminded couples, though, that too much conflict isn't healthy. "Yung away ng away, bad trip yun. Ang maganda yung away na may patutunguhan. Kami naman, in the more than three years that we've been married, ang mga away naman namin, may patutunguhan. (Arguing all the time is bad. Good fights are those that lead to something better. In the more than three years that we've been married, our fights have been of the latter kind.)"
