American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez and singer Marc Anthony are going their separate ways after seven years of marriage, PEP.ph reports. In a statement the couple sent to People Magazine, they are quoted as saying, “We have decided to end our marriage. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved, and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."  

J.Lo and Marc Anthony were married in June 2004, and they have three-year-old twins, Max and Emme. According to AFP, the couple was scheduled to film a new show later this year, in which they would go in search of talent in Latin American countries. Whether or not the show will push through remains to be seen.

This was J.Lo’s third marriage and Marc Anthony’s second.
