Gretchen Barretto has refused to further speak about the much-publicized feud between her family, saying that she has already put it behind her.

“I don’t think gusto kong buksan ang mga sarado na. Sinara na iyan, so let’s leave it there (I don’t think I want to open doors that have already been closed. It has already come to a close, so let’s leave it there.). I don’t think I’m ready to answer any family questions,” she was quoted as saying in an article on ABS-CBNNews.com.

Gretchen also said that her followers can see just how happy she is in her posts on the photo-sharing app Instagram.

“I’m good with how things are right now. I share a little bit of my daily life with the public through Instagram. I think that’s as far as I’m gonna go,” she said, adding that she doesn’t mind her bashers anymore.

“It’s my way of sharing my everyday life. I’m happy to do it. I know I can’t please everybody but it’s just really sharing of my everyday life.”

Last May, she admitted that she has stopped trying to reconcile with her mother, Mrs. Inday Barretto, who had disowned her in April.

“I’m moving on now,” she was quoted by PEP.ph as saying. “I try not to talk about anything that’s painful and negative.”
