A rumored feud between Temptation Island stars Heart Evangelista and Marian Rivera reportedly came to a head at the airport in Manila on June 13, PEP.ph reports. The two stars and the rest of the cast had just come back from taping scenes in Ilocos Norte when the incident allegedly happened. PEP.ph cites a report by Mario Bautista from People’s Journal saying that as Marian approached Heart to say goodbye, Mrs. Ongpauco, Heart’s mom, suddenly yelled, “Stay away from my daughter!”Mrs. Ongpauco also said more hurtful words to Marian, which made her cry. Meanwhile, other PEP sources say Mrs. Ongpauco supposedly had bodyguards on the scene acting as “protection” for Heart.
Two days before the alleged incident, Heart had dismissed the rumors about her feud with Marian in a Tweet to her fans. “Let’s not make a big fuss. Marian and I are okay. Showbiz is showbiz so, Heartworld, 'wag na tayo mag-away-away,” she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph.
According to PEP.ph, the rumors of discord happening between Heart and Marian started when Heart’s boyfriend, Daniel Matsunaga, expressed his interest in working on a project with Marian. Heart also apparently got excited over an upcoming project she was going to have with Marian’s boyfriend, Dingdong Dantes.
As of press time, both camps have not issued any statements about the issue.
