In spite of her feud with older sisters Gretchen and Marjorie Barretto, Claudine Barretto remains hopeful that they would remember the good things she has done for them. The actress candidly talked about her family at length at a dinner she prepared for select members of the media on October 17.
I just pray that they would at least remember all the good things I’ve done for them, that they would not listen to the lies of the enemy. I hope they would remember the times when I was there for them when they needed me. I did not abandon them nor did I hurt their children),” the actress was quoted by PEP.ph as saying.
Although Claudine doesn't see herself reconciling with her sisters in the near future, she hopes that she could once again spend time with her nephew and nieces.
Claudine said. “Mga anak ni Marj. Siyempre, si Julia, Claui, si Dani, si Leon. And si Dominique [Gretchen's daughter] din... sobrang nami-miss ko sila (I miss all of them. I couldn’t say there’s someone I miss the most. I don’t play favorites... Marj’s children--Julia, Claui, Dani, and Leon--and Dominique, too… I miss them so much.).”
