The country’s citizens may have different opinions about the legal war between Kris Aquino and James Yap, but Anne Curtis, who stars with Kris in the teleserye Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw, is on Kris’s side regarding the issue.

“She has my 150 percent support, and Bimby's my inaanak (godson), so they have my support,” she said during Procter & Gamble’s Pantene and Olay Red Carpet Summer press conference on March 23.

The actress also shared that she knew how deeply hurt Kris was when the news broke out.

“The night before [March 22] I was with her... and she was very devastated. I just texted her, I said, 'Ate, I love you.' There's only so much that you could say, so I only let her know that I'm here for her,” Anne said.

As for Kris’s controversial decision to quit all her shows, Anne said that her co-star would have to finish her commitments to the network first.

“I don't know how she's going to go about it, but based from what was announced, I think she has commitments kase to the network,” Anne shared, adding that they only have a few more days left to before they finish taping. “I think she has to finish [taping for the teleserye].”
