TV host Kris Aquino remains free to make public statements about her annulment case with basketball player James Yap, PEP.ph reports. According to a report on GMA-7's StarTalk TX last November 6, the Makati City Regional Trial Court did not release a decision regarding the Yap's lawyer’s motion to impose a gag order on Kris. This was because Kris and her counsel requested for ten days to properly respond to the motion. “If granted, the parties, their counsels, their representatives will be prohibited from making statements, public statements which will be aired in any form of media; all forms of media including Twitter and Facebook,” Atty. Lino Kapunan, James’s counsel was quoted as saying.
Meanwhile, when asked about the issue, the queen of talk only said, “Mahirap awayin ang taong binabayaran ng ex mo. I mean, anything I say will be misinterpreted."
