The historic landmarks of Old Manila served as the backdrop for the prenuptial shoot of JC de Vera and fiancée Rikkah Cruz.
JC and Rikkah, dressed to the nines, had their photos taken at the rehabilitated Jones Bridge and the walled city of Intramuros.
In one of their layouts, JC and Rikkak captured old-world charm in their choice of outfits: a white column gown by Francis Libiran for her and a dapper gray suit by Edwin Tan for him.
The couple also had their photos taken at the tourist spots in Intramuros, including the popular restaurant Le Cathedral Cafe known for its Parisian-like vibe beside the Manila Cathedral and Casa Manila, a museum showcasing the social history of Manila during the Spanish colonial era.
Talking to PEP.ph via Facebook Messenger, Charisse Tinio of Nice Print Photography said, "We wanted to showcase the world-class beauty of old Manila as restored by Mayor Isko [Moreno]."
JC and Rikkah also teamed up with The Rabbit Hole for the art direction and set design of their layouts.
Celebrity stylist Cath Sobrevega dressed up the couple for the shoot. Meanwhile, Chie Gonzales was in charge of the couple's hair and make-up.

Rumors about the couple's engagement sparked last November 13, 2019, when Rikkah flaunted her ring finger in a photo that JC uploaded.
But in an interview with PEP.ph on November 22, 2019, the Kapamilya actor said the photo was taken to promote their Facebook page.
"Hindi, sinabi lang ng lahat. Kasi meron akong kabarkada talaga na photographer and we needed that photo para ilagay dun sa page namin. So iyon yung pinost ko."
On December 5, 2019, JC confirmed during his interview in Tonight With Boy Abunda that they already started planning their wedding.
It is going to be held out of town, and attended only by family members and closest friends. It is rumored to happen later this year.
JC and Rikkah have been dating since 2015. They have a beautiful two-year-old daughter named Lana Athena.
