Having been married previously in a civil ceremony, Mimi and Dave wanted their Christian wedding to be relaxed and intimate. They held their ceremony and reception at Acuatico Beach Resort in Laiya, Batangas.

Mimi and her friend Julia were hands on with planning the wedding, which featured a yellow and orange motif. The two busied themselves with DIY projects, decorated the ceremony and reception venue, and prepared the program for the big day.

Nostalgic details that referenced to their childhood years were also incorporated into the celebration. Mimi and Dave wore Rambo slippers at their wedding, and served chips that they enjoyed munching on as children. By doing so, the couple was able to show their personalities, and let their guests enjoy a fun affair.
