LOVE STORY
Michelle and Roel met each other through common friends. At that time, Roel was attached to someone else, but that first meeting did not turn out to be their last. When Roel found himself single again, he plucked up the courage to ask Michelle out. Four years later, Roel plucked up more of that debonair courage and asked for Michelle's hand in marriage. Michelle and Roel started planning their wedding, and their harmonious relationship was the perfect tool for getting along in making decisions.

WEDDING PREPARATIONS
"I wanted it to be perfect in every aspect especially since I organized everything," the bride shares. Achieving perfection on her wedding was not an idealistic feat--Michelle had a bride's sensibility to book her suppliers and finalize wedding details early. With the help of her best friend, every phase of the planning process slowly brought each element of her dream wedding into reality.
Following the purple motif, bridesmaids and flower girls were dressed up in gowns of purple chiffon. Purple votive candles designed and made by the bride decorated all the tables in the Kachina Ballroom of the Century Park Hotel. Principal sponsors were graced with souvenirs cased in purple felt bags.
Michelle shares the secret to planning her and Roel's wedding: "Planning a good wedding need not be expensive. Research is key to finding good suppliers who can deliver good quality service. Price, I think, does not guarantee good quality. [You just need to] choose your suppliers carefully."
For Michelle, planning her own wedding was made easier because her groom was with her during every stage of the planning. The preparation became a celebration of a couple's love as much as the event itself.
