Endless Love
I once attended a wedding where the father of the bride's speech went on for more than hour! And he's not making any sense na talaga and yung mga guests are looking around na because we could no longer understand what was going on and what he was saying probably because of too much alcohol... LOL! But at the end of the speech, guests still clapped and cheered... Siguro [they were] happy that the speech was over.

Tactless Mother-in-Law
At the wedding of my college friend in 2012, her mother-in-law made a speech and told everyone the story on how she tried to break the couple apart so many times because she was worried for her son's future. She also said, "Hindi naman dahil sa ichura eh, dahil talaga maganda pa sana ang future ni ____." Sobrang thick ng discomfort in the atmosphere. Naawa ako sa friend ko, hindi naman siya pangit, she's short and quite big pero charming naman yung face. Nakakaloka how paulit-ulit na sinabi ang pag worry niya sa future ng anak niya as if naman criminal yung friend ko.

Dirty Laundry
During our wedding, my hubby's mom mentioned in her speech that a few months before the wedding, hubby and I got into a big fight to the point na I texted her in my anger that we were going to call off the wedding. Her point was, since kasal na daw kami hindi na daw pwedeng padalos-dalos na ganun.

Nakakahiya lang na all our guests had to find that out.

Tanggapin Mo Na Lang
Sabi nung dad ng groom, not verbatim "Eto lang payo ko sa bride. Good catch ang anak ko. Guwapo... May kotse... May pera kami... Never kami kinapos kaya wag kang magtataka kung lapitan ng babae at matukso. Tanggapin mo nalang."
