On top of her business activities online, Viy is also an endorser for Ever Bilena.

PEP.ph interviewed Viy via Zoom on September 16, 2020.

Her success story began when she decided to quit her corporate job to focus on vlogging in early 2016.

Before long, her followers on Instagram grew to 1.5 million. Her YouTube channel to date has 3.93 million followers.

In addition, Viy also has her own franchise of Tea Talk, a milk-tea shop, in San Pedro, Laguna. She has plans to open another one in Parañaque City.

She is driven by the need to make her savings work for her. "Mas gusto kong nakikita yung pera kong umiikot kesa nasa bangko lang siya," she said.

Although real-estate properties are generally good investments, Viy has opted to put her money into businesses first. Explaining her move, she said, "Yung mga properties kasi, puwedeng saka na, ang uunahin mo talaga is business.
