What exactly are soft skills? UK's National Career Service defines them as, "personal qualities and attitudes that can help you to work well with others and make a positive contribution to organisations you work for." Let’s say you have favorite sales girl in a boutique, and you like her because she knows how to communicate with you well and she knows what you want. Sure, she knows what she sells, but the way she handles the transaction is what makes you loyal to her. Her ability to establish a rapport with you is an example of a soft skill.
