Having a stable job is well and good, but it doesn’t hurt to have extra income once in a while. After all, you never know just when you might have an emergency—medical or fashion-wise! But where exactly can you get more moolah? Check out these five raket suggestions!
Do you have a sharp eye? Are you a grammar fan? Then why don’t you offer your thesis-writing friends your proofreading services. It’s something you can do while you’re on lunch break or while you’re in the middle of a long commute.
2. Research assistant
Are you still in touch with some of your former college professors? Give them a ring, and inquire about becoming their research assistant. They may need someone to look up important figures for class or verify parts of their personal research.
With entrance exam season well on the way, proctor positions are now open. The pay may not be much, but considering that your main task is to look over a group of generally well-behaved kids, it’s not such a bad deal at all.
4. Personal shopper
Christmas might be just around the corner, but not everyone has the time to look for the perfect gift for their loved ones. Volunteer to be a personal shopper and help relatives, friends, and eventually, real clients with their holiday lists.
This time, you get to wear a uniform or a costume. Check if any of your favorite museums or theater need additional help for an upcoming event. A good working knowledge of art and film may also help.
