With the holiday season drawing closer, families are getting ready for their Christmas spending.

With this in mind, celebrity mom Neri Naig Miranda suggests a six-week money-saving strategy for Christmas starting November.

Neri writes in her recent Instagram post, "Mag-iipon tayo ng P500 kada linggo.

She acknowledges it may be difficult for some, particularly those who tell her, "Gipit na ako, Neri! Walang extrang natitira sa sahod ko."

But the#WaisNaMisis insists you could still find a way to cut your spending if you eliminate some habits.

Tara, samahan mo akong mag ipon. Hindi pa huli ang lahat.

"Kayang kaya mong maging milyonaryo kahit gaano pa katagal, makakamit mo rin yan! Basta may right attitude, walang imposible!"

Neri's money-saving tip for Christmas is a manageable short-term strategy, a good way to start a long-term habit if you're up for it.
