These days, our favorite stars are branching out of the entertainment industry and venturing into new prospects, one that involves unleashing their inner entrepreneurs. Like influencers who decided to work on their passion projects and launch their own businesses, several of today's showbiz talents have also released their own brands.
These local celebrities show us a new side of them through their new business ventures:
Julia Barretto
In 2021, Julia launched The Juju Club, a lifestyle brand that embodies her own lifestyle. On coming up with a business that is in line with her personality, Julia says, "With The Juju Club coming out, I feel like that brand represents me as a whole and everything that I love and everything that says 'Julia.'" The Juju Club currently offers various items, including pouches, hair clamps, and sunglasses, in the cutest, most #aesthetic colors.
Elisse Joson
Together with her boyfriend McCoy De Leon, Elisse launched a jewelry line called Felizia Jewelry (Fun fact: it's named after their baby, Felize!). Felizia Jewelry sells high-quality dainty accessories fit for those who love to keep their style low-key. Elisse and McCoy personally handpicked the designs they think will match their customers' everyday lifestyle.
Sofia Andres
In 2021, Sofia launched Zoe Essentials, a line of everyday needs which includes alcosprays, body washes, and perfume oils. FYI, the brand is named after Sofia and boyfriend Daniel Miranda's daughter, Zoe! You can also spot Zoe occasionally posing for Zoe Essentials with her mom!
Ella Cruz
Actress Ella Cruz owns an online store called Life Is EC, a brand "with various items created and sent by the Universe." According to Ella, Life Is EC hopes to "send good energy" to people through the products they carry. As of the moment, they are an official retailer of various international brands such as Dreamymoons and The Quirky Cup Collective, and carry items like zodiac-themed merchandise, crystal necklaces, pouches, and planners, among others.
Joj and Jai
Celebrity twins Joj and Jai Agpangan also ventured into a business of their own! They recently opened a franchise of Tako Tako, a takoyaki kiosk, in their hometown, Bacolod.
Andrea Brillantes
While it's not entirely her own, Andrea teamed up with local beauty brand Careline to launch her own line of makeup called Blythe Cosmetics. Her makeup line has its own set of products and packaging which perfectly encapsulates Blythe's fun and colorful personality.
