You're probably busy trying to get through the day, but here's some news that'll surely have you smiling from ear to ear. Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) is planning on partnering with Yoshinoya to bring to life its first-ever Japanese food chain.
No, it's not a joke. You can absolutely start getting excited.

This food venture will serve as the Japanese restaurant's local franchisee. Long-term, it looks like we can expect at least 50 stores to open. Whoa! They'll be focusing on delivery for now, though.
According to a disclosure, "Yoshinoya's contribution to JFC's system wide sales will not be significant yet as it has very limited number of stores, but it has huge opportunity to increase sales by taking advantage of the strong demand for food delivery."
JFC chairman Tony Tan Caktiong said, "Yoshinoya's food, particularly its signature Gyudon beef bowl holds very well for delivery."
In case you didn't know, among JFC's foreign franchised brands in the Philippines are Burger King, PHO 24 and Panda Express.
