If there's one reason people avoid office romances, it's because they don’t want things to get too awkward when the relationship turns sour. It’s one thing to have a lover’s tiff every now and then—that's easily mended at home—but a real breakup is something that you’ll have to live with every day for as long as both of you are working in the same company. Now, the future looks a bit bleak at the moment, but believe it or not, it will get easier.

Admittedly, an office breakup will take you longer to get over, but it's still like any other breakup you’ve had in the past. Once you let go, everything else will follow.

The only difference is that you'll have to do it while having to see him at work at the same time. You'll have to prepare for certain inevitable situations, too, but these tips should give you a hand.
