34-year-old Cherish Maningat is living every K-drama fan's dream! The Pinay, who is currently based in Seoul, has been working as a theater, film, and TV actress in South Korea for more than five years.

Cherish started out as a musical actor and later on, she shifted to acting in films and TV dramas in 2013.
Her latest K-drama role was in top-rating series Dr. Romantic Season 2, which starred Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop. "For a TV drama, medyo mahaba 'yung exposure ko rito. It was really fun," Cherish shares in a video interview with Summit Media. She even got the chance to chat with Lee Sung-kyung!
"I got to know si Ms. Lee Sung-kyung. And then [since she's also] a Christian, she was able to tell me a lot of things. She was comforting me [as I was going through something at the time.]"
"It's just hard to imagine a big star like her to approach someone who's unknown like me," she shares. "I think that's one of the most memorable [moments] that I treasure."
The Pinay actress has two upcoming movie projects, which are expected to be released next year. "I just do everything with my whole strength," she says. "I am living my dream and I am grateful."
