When it comes to business, celebrity couple Chito Miranda and Neri Naig just know what they're doing—and even when they don't, go pa rin. In fact, Neri once said, "Kapag may maisip akong business idea, yung kikiligin ako everytime na maiisip ko yung idea na 'yun, para sa akin, magandang sign 'yun na ituloy ko. At talagang ginagawa ko, 'di ako natatakot na subukan. Siyempre 'di ko iniisip na mag-fail ang idea ko, pero kung 'di man mag-work, at least alam ko na may lesson akong natutunan."
What's interesting is that even with all these businesses under their belts, the first investment they decided to go 50-50 on is Miranda's Rest House in Alfonso!
In a video uploaded on his YouTube channel, Chito gave fans a quick tour of the place, which is complete with four rooms, a swimming pool, a playhouse/playground, and a pavilion for events.
He explained that the first and fourth rooms are identical; and so are the second and third rooms. The first room has a sofa bed, refrigerator, kettle, and space for your things.
The bedroom can be found on the second floor and it has a giant TV with Netflix and YouTube. According to Chito, this is where the groom or bride would stay, but that it can hold around four people.
The second and third rooms are for the "entourage". It has bunk beds on the first floor and two beds right above—six people could stay there.
The rate for each room is only P5,000. If you rent all four rooms, you'll have the entire place to yourself for just P20,000. For a big event, customers can rent the pavilion, which can accommodate 80 to 100 people, for P30,000.
Chito proudly shared that this resthouse was Neri's idea. "I'm really proud of her because pinaglaban niya talaga yung concept, yung idea...Siya talaga yung nag-conceptualize and nagbuo nitong lahat..." It wasn't until later that Chito decided to cover half of the "gastos" though he also helped with the design of the place.
