ARTICLE_Tips.jpgThere's a vast range of wedding favors and souvenirs and they can be packaged in various ways. Your supplier may have available packaging options for your souvenirs, but these can cost you extra. If you're working on a tight budget (or if you're up for an easy do-it-yourself project), you can wrap up your own wedding souvenirs. Here are some suggestions for cheap packaging that's readily available in any supermarket or bookstore:

1. Wrapping paper

You'd be surprised at the pretty designs that are available at bookstores and specialty paper shops. Finding wrapping paper with the print that you want might be a little tricky, but plain colors are easy to find and look just as good. If you want a different texture for your souvenir wrapping, try using tulle wrappers. You can find these in craft stores or bookstores; these cost about PhP50 a roll.

2. Cardboard trinket boxes

Trinket boxes are available at craft stores, department stores and bookstores. These small, ready-made boxes usually come in brown or plain pastel colors. They can cost from PhP8 to PhP75 a box, depending on the size and shape. All you have to do is personalize the boxes (maybe with stickers of your monogram), pop your wedding souvenirs inside, and you're done!

3. Brown paper bags

Not only are they recyclable and eco-friendly, but they serve multiple purposes as well. Jazz up your brown paper bag with ribbons, or stick on a dramatic black and white photo of you and your fiancé to transform an otherwise plain paper bag into a personalized package. These cost around PhP66 for 100 pieces, and supermarkets are likely to have them.
