FN's own Belle Yambao went on a four-day trip to Singapore with her family, and experienced the charms of the city firsthand: exquisitely structured buildings, jam-packed streets full of life (and food!), and probably some of the best cabbies in the world (only in Singapore will the taxi drivers make sure you have your change before leaving!). She confesses that her favorite part of the trip was being able to walk around the city at all hours without fear. For Manila girls used to clutching their bags in a vise grip, this will certainly be a refreshing change. The city is also home to a growing Filipino community—you won’t really feel that homesick with all the Pinoys around!
