Thanks to his students, this teacher carried out the best proposal ever–and got a "Yes!"

Jonathan Holt, a chemistry and physics teacher at Chalmette High School in Chalmette, Louisiana, wanted to pop the question to his girlfriend, Iris Howorth, an English teacher from the same school. He carefully planned everything–from arranging a fake meeting with the principal to asking the school band to play for him.

"I wanted to make a big production out of it, and I wanted to involve the Chalmette High School community as a sort of tribute to all that they have given us over the years," Holt said. "The school administration is phenomenal, and the students are so special. Including the students in the proposal was a perfect opportunity to express our gratitude for all the love they have shared with us," he added.
