In a few minutes, you’ll be leaving for your first date with your longtime crush. You’re so excited, you can barely sit still enough to apply your mascara. And who wouldn’t be giddy in the first place? First dates are quite romantic, and if yours proves to be an example of the rule, then a second date is sure to follow.

As this is the first time that you and your guy will be going out, it’s normal to feel nervous as well. Don’t let this overwhelm you. The trick is simply to enjoy each other’s company. Before you leave for your first date, however, here are a few tips to consider:
