Candice said, "We sent letters because the idea of having our hearts poured out in the form of paper meant we had tangible memories to look back on."

But that's not even the best part. Timothy wrote his first letter only a week after they started dating, and when you combine the first letters of every note, they spell out, "Will you marry me."

Timothy arranged for them to go on a surprise trip to Hamilton Island and they had a picnic at Watsons Bay—where the couple had their first date—and that's when he revealed the letters' hidden message.
