Similar to what is experienced by adults, kids with this illness suffer from pain because of the swelling of the joints. Andy “Roo” Moy, a 13-year-old boy whose story has inspired thousands, is fighting to find a cure. Roo’s Crew spearheads walks and other fund raising events to disseminate information about the disease and to subsidize research programs that seek to find a cure.
