Have you ever wondered how guys get over being dumped so quickly? Women tend to cry and wallow in self-pity, but most men are out and about in just a few months. This could be because of the way each gender is wired.

So does this mean that men are better at coping with the heartache of a breakup? In an interview with Glamour, licensed marriage and family therapist David Klow, owner of Skylight Counseling Center in Chicago says that what studies reveal may be the opposite of what’s really going on and that “what might seem like quickly moving on could be someone masking the symptoms of grief.” He also added that it’s a lot healthier to move on slowly after being rejected compared to rebounding from a loss at a quick pace.

One thing is for sure, girls and boys, you shouldn't rush a broken heart. Although the past may have damaged you so much, you can still recover and heal through time. You don't need to lie to yourself by pretending that you're over it quickly. Trust the process and you''ll see that as time passes by, you've truly moved on.
