When you think about the amazing women in your life, you immediately think of the women in your family. In fact, if you read through some of the staff blogs recently, you’d see that most of the entries this month are tributes to our own female family members (both editorial assistant Mars and photographer Mike have nothing but good words to say about their respective moms. I, for one, will be writing about my older sister next week). To continue with the familial parade, we dedicate this article to all of the amazing female family members in our lives.

1. To our supportive mom, thank you for always looking out for our best interests. Even though we don’t always get along, deep down, we know that you’ll always be our number one fan.

2. To our well-traveled tita, thank you for opening our eyes to everything the world has to offer; we’re not ashamed to say that we live vicariously through you.

3. To our fashionista sister, thank you for giving us invaluable advice and for talking us out of that hideous full bang.

4. To our sweet, sweet lola, thank you for spoiling us so, and for always being the first to like our Facebook status. You rock.
