So you’ve just received an invite from one of your great aunts to attend a grand family reunion. But while you’re thrilled at the prospect of seeing your dear relatives once again, you’re also half-dreading facing the inquisition.

"When are you getting married?"

"Why aren't you two starting a family yet?"

"Why are you still single?"

You know the drill--after all, this level of brazenness happens every year. Whether it’s because of the holiday spirit or simply just a little too much spirit, there is always one well-meaning family member who can't help but step over that imaginary boundary.

Still, the chance of getting asked such questions shouldn’t keep you in the house during the holidays. To help you prepare for what is to come, here are a few sample questions and tips on how to answer them.
