In case you're not familiar with the Samaritan's Purse, it's a project wherein kids from the United States fill a box with different goodies and send it to the less fortunate kids in the Philippines. And this is how the love story of Tyrel Wolfe from Idaho and Joana Marchan from the Philippines started. Theirs is a beautiful love story that will make you believe in love and miracles again.
It was in 2000 when Tyrel sent a box to the Philippines, which Joana received. In an interview with Fox9, she revealed that she really can't remember the contents of the box. All she remembered was that it was accompanied by a photo of a cute little cowboy with his name and address.
Years later, Joana added him on Facebook to thank him for the gift. Tyrel asked him how he knew her and she told him about the Samaritan's Purse he sent years ago. What started as a simple conversation grew into romance. Tyrel decided to visit the Philippines later on, which made them realize that what they shared was something special. After a while, the two got married in October 2014, five months after Tyrel asked for Joana's hand from her father in Filipino, and already welcomed their first child.

Tyrel said in the interview that it wasn't an accident that Joana added him. He said, "There was no possible way that she could have found me out of chance. It was through God that she found me."
