Christmas isn’t just a time for family and friends. It’s also when you and your man can get some much-needed alone time together. In the spirit of the season, we list down several holi-dates the two of you can go on.
1. Attend Simbang Gabi together.

It’s not quite the midnight rendezvous you had in mind, but it’s a nice way to spend time together. After listening to mass, you can go for puto bumbong and cap the night off with a romantic stroll back to the car.
2. Go to Christmas bazaars.
Have fun discovering new and quirky items for sale. And while you’ve already got his gift all wrapped up at home, giving him another present—say, that cool Star Wars mug that caught hs eye—just because you want to works, too.
3. Try ice skating.

We don’t have a white Christmas, but we do have tons of ice. Put on your matching Christmas sweaters and skate with your hand in his.
4. Share an ice cream.
The weather may be cold, but doesn’t that just make you want to eat ice cream more? Share a sundae or a banana split to make it more romantic.
5. Listen to romantic Christmas songs at home.

Set up a cozy nook in the living room. Prepare a bottle of wine, two goblets, and a cheese platter before putting on your fireplace screensaver. Skip “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” and hit play on Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas.”
6. Attend a holiday party as a couple.

Dress up to one of the reunions you plan to attend. Bring out your LBD and your tiny clutch and have him wear a coat and his best dress shoes. Just because it’s a Christmas party doesn’t mean you two can’t flirt with each other all night.
7. Watch a Christmas classic.
As an alternative to # 5, you and your man can watch a holiday movie together. To make it fun (and fair), have him make a list of the 10 Christmas classics he wants to watch and make your own list as well. Draw lots to see which you’ll be watching first. And if you somehow end up in his arms in the middle of the movie, well...
