If you're a fan of reality singing competitions, then you’re probably already watching The Voice US! Unlike other talent shows, which have open auditions, The Voice invites amateur and veteran artists alike to undergo Blind Auditions in the hope of joining a celebrity coach's team and moving one step closer to their dream of getting a recording deal.

The four coaches--Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine, and Cee Lo Green--start out with their backs to a contestant. They listen to the singer perform, focusing solely on that person’s vocal ability, and, if they like him or her, they press a button to turn their chairs around. This indicates that they want the contestant on their teams. The coaches then mentor their protégés for the Battle Round and the live shows--until one of the contestants emerges the big winner.
