We all have our favorite books, movies, and TV shows--the ones we can read and watch repeatedly and never get tired of. Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the plot that we can almost imagine ourselves as one of the characters, but often the reason why we become so involved with the stories is because we see something of ourselves in the lead female character.Whether it’s someone whimsical and romantic like Amelie, someone wacky like Friends’ Phoebe, or someone clever and with a healthy dose of attitude like Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice, there is one female character in literature, TV, or film we carry close to our hearts because she captures who we are perfectly.
