Music lovers are spoiled for choice in the first half of 2011, as a lot of big name artists are announcing concert dates that include the Philippines. We’ve already had Janet Jackson in town—the pop legend kicked off her world tour in Manila last February 4—and with artists like Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Super Junior, Justin Bieber, and The Script lined up in the next few months, it looks like it will be a year of musical revelry. And let’s not forget the fine Filipino talents gracing stages and stadiums for us this year: Side A and the artists featured in Upsurge, the concert at the UP Diliman fair.But given all these shows to choose from, there must be one that artist that you would love to see perform. If you had the chance to see any artist or musician—living or dead—perform live in concert, who would it be? Would you jump at the chance to see Michael Jackson do one last moonwalk across the stage? Or would you want to be front and center to croon along with Jeff Buckley or pour out your pain with Kurt Cobain? Maybe you just want to see the Spice Girls together one more time—or see your favorite boy bands back together and harmonizing like you’ve stepped through a time warp into the ‘90s.
