Want to do something interesting this weekend but strapped for cash? Enjoy quality time with your BFF with these activities that can ensure a day of fun without busting a buck.

1. Walk around your village.
There’s no need to pay for a costly gym session. Invite your friend for a leisurely walk. Head to the clubhouse or hang out at the playground. Bonus points for taking your pets with you.

2. Play games!
Who says that games are only for guys? Play video games (Kinect Starwars has a Galactic Dance Off mode that will get your fannies shaking) or desk top games (Jenga has always been a great classic) against your BFF for hours and hours of competitive fun.



3. Hold a garage sale.
One woman’s trash is another woman’s treasure. Collect your old clothes and knick-knacks and put them up for sale. Between the two of you, you can definitely sell enough stuff to fund your next outing.

4. Cook!
QT with your BFF should always have munchies. Check out what’s in your fridge and whip up something nice.



5. Get creative.
Put both your Pinterest boards to good use! Spend the day doing crafts you've pinned but haven't gotten around trying. Who knows? Maybe you can start a business out of it.

6. Have a spa day.
No need to pay for pampering. Pool your spa products together and spend the entire day putting on facial masks while letting your feet soak in warm, scented water.

7. Be a couch potato.
Grab some popcorn and chill in front of the boob tube. Sony Channel has a good line-up this February, including new shows such as Odd Mom Out and Bad Judge. You may also want to catch the second season of Younger will be starting on February 28.
