red_riding_hood_inside1.jpg.jpgHollywood breathes new life into the classic story of Little Red Riding Hood with a movie starring Amanda Seyfried, Gary Oldman, and Jay Hernandez. In this version of the story, Seyfried is Valerie, a woman who lives in a village whose people have formed an uneasy truce with a werewolf, offering the beast animal sacrifices so that they are spared. But when a member of the village is attacked, a werewolf hunter (Oldman) is brought in so that he can rid them of this menace. Valerie, who was planning to run away with the man she loves (Hernandez), realizes that she is somehow linked to the wolf and tries to find a way to save herself and the place she calls home.
