Majority of Filipinos are devout Catholics. At every corner, you can find a church or a chapel full of people there to hear mass or perhaps to seek refuge and penance. This September, there are several festivities lined up for the whole nation to take part in. It’s a busy month for dioceses whose patron saints’ birthdays take place this time of the year. At the same time, Filipinos prove that the water sports is definitely more fun here with the annual Siargao International Surfing Cup, which will be held in Surigao on the last week of the month.
