The Philippines being a tropical paradise, it's common to fantasize about having a summer house by the beach. For celebrity couple Robin Da Roza and Maffy Soler, this dream turned into reality when they opened the Soler Sea Seaside Resort in Balayan, Batangas in January. It's also only three to four hours away from Manila so you don't have to file too many vacation leaves!
The property features bungalow houses perfect for families who want to spend more time with the kids in a weekend escapade or a group of friends who are out to have one of the best summer experiences of their lives. The spacious common area, dining area with long tables, and pool deck with a videoke machine makes Soler Sea Seaside Resort pretty family-friendly. Furniture and decor are mostly made of old wood and rattan, all courtesy of Da Roza Interior Design and Furnishing.
But of course, the star of the show is the infinity pool that seems to extend into Balayan Beach, one of the lesser-known beaches in Batangas, ensuring a bit of a privacy. The stairs by the poolside provide easy access to the coconut tree-lined strip below.
Soler Sea Seaside Resort is at Barangay Carenahan, Balayan, Batangas. Introductory rates are at P1,500/head for day tours, P4,500 for the Honeymoon Suite (two pax), P5,500 to P7,000 for the family and barkada rooms (three to 12 pax).
