The Manila International Airport Authority announced on August 17 a list of cancelled and diverted flights from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. Xiamen Air flight MF8667 skidded off the airport's international runway just before midnight on Thursday, August 16. According to a report by CNN Philippines, all of the flight's 157 passengers are safe and have been deplaned. The runway will be closed until 4 p.m. today for the removal of the aircraft.
