"Still when I'm a mess, I still put on my vest / With an S on my chest / Oh yes, I'm a Superwoman," sings 29-year-old R&B star Alicia Keys in the Grammy-award winning song she wrote with Linda Perry and Steve Mostyn, the final single from her 2007 album, As I Am.

In the video, which was directed by Chris Robinson, Keys plays several different "superwomen" who are worlds apart in lifestyle and situation, but who all secretly wear the S on their chests: a young mother of two applying for welfare (later revealed to be Wynter Williams, future mother/college student), an African woman drawing water from a well and carries the jug on her head to her home then dons a school uniform (Nassanga Galabuzi), a working woman who obviously enjoys both her roles as businesswoman and mother (Jada Pinkett Smith, mother/entrepreneur/actress), a female pharaoh (presumably Cleopatra), and an astronaut (Joan Higginbotham).
